POLICY ROUND TABLE: Criminal Justice Reform: A Thoughtful Approach to a Safer Healthier Ohio (with preferred seating for elected officials)



WORKSHOPS In addition to an opening address, two keynotes and a policy round table, the conference schedule features a full slate of workshops covering many of the latest evidence-based practices that have been shown to reduce recidivism. The workshops will center around three tracks: core correctional practices, mental health, and substance use disorders. Workshops address the needs of community corrections professionals in both residential and non-residential settings and will cover timely topics including: trauma informed care, effective response to symptoms of mental illness, substance use disorders and the criminal justice-involved population, working with young adults, and working with veterans.
