WORKSHOPS
In addition to two keynotes, the Senior Leadership Summit, and a round table dedicated to overcoming the barriers to reentry, the conference schedule features a full slate of workshops covering many of the latest evidence-based practices that have been shown to reduce recidivism. The workshops will center around four tracks: leadership, core correctional practices, mental health, and substance use disorders. Workshops address the needs of community corrections professionals in both residential and non-residential settings and will cover timely topics including: motivational interviewing, managing agression in clients, gambling disorders, criminal thinking, cognitive behavioral interventions and more.
